This is just a portion of and a close-up of some of the mushrooms in a huge ‘Fairy Ring’ we found the other day. We have no idea what kind of mushrooms these are. We’re just taking photos. Well, The Scribe is taking photos. I’m just along for the walk…
It was almost 2m across this ring of little mushrooms. There were hundreds of them…
The mushrooms were only a maximum of about 2.5 – 3 cm in diameter.

they call it a “witches ring” here and if you are in the middle you can make a wish :o) they look a little like scotch bonnets :o)
This one was big enough to be a witches ring, all right. We’ll remember that bit about the wish next time we see one. I know what I’ll wish for ~;o}=
